Dedicated to the memory of Girish (Chris)

This site is a tribute to Girish (Chris), who was born in Kakamega, Kenya on January 13, 1962. He is much loved and will always be remembered by family and friends.

We have chosen this charity for all the amazing staff at Whipps Cross who showed tremendous professionalism and compassion. That effort made Girish's last journey easier than it would have been and Girish's appreciation of that effort is not to be underestimated.

With special thanks to the brilliant Mr Davies and Anna at the SAU, the staff in Rowan ward, Stacy in stoma dept and the palliative care teams including Mr Carrigan, Theresa, Shaz, Rea and Colin.

Whilst not directly benefiting from this donation, we would give thanks to Dr Killen and all the staff at Ocean B Ward, Romford hospital both for the original operation and the oncology diagnosis and on going care. To the many community district nurses in the Redbridge team, Pram and his colleagues in the community palliative care teams. The care workers who came four times a day and tried to provide the care that was needed. A huge thank you to his last GP, Dr Bhartia who was a blueprint for how a GP should be.

Finally, Girish spent just over three months in Nottingham and there was an army of medical staff and care workers carrying out much of the same high quality work that was also done in London. Special thanks to Littlewick Medical Centre.

If we have not named you please forgive us it was not an intentional omission.
